What is Plastisol Coating?

Plastisol is a liquid coating material consisting of a mixture of PVC (polyvinyl chloride) resin and plasticizers. Metal parts are coated by dipping or spraying into this liquid, then gelled in an oven at 160-200°C.

Plastisol vs Powder Coating

Plastisol coating provides thicker coating (0.5-3mm) than powder coating and impact resistance is much higher. However, powder coating is more economical and preferred where thin coating is needed.
