Polyimide tape is used in powder coating, cataphoresis and various electroplated coatings and in processes that require higher-temperature specialized baking machines. Polyimide tapes are polyamide based silicone masking tapes coated with silicone adhesive.
Polyimide Tape Properties:
- It is high temperature resistant up to 260 °C.
- It has 60 micron film thickness.
- It is 33 meters long.
- Cutting is realized in desired widths in the range of 5-500 mm.
- It has electrical insulation properties.
- Its flexible structure allows it to be easily applied to different shapes and surfaces and used in various projects.
- It provides very easy adhesion to the surface to be masked.
- It never leaves any traces of stickiness and residue on the metal at high temperatures.
