Masking caps are flexible and multi-use masking products made from silicone compounds prepared with our special formulas for paint shops and coating facilities. They are masking products that are resistant to 260°C continuous, 315°C temporary temperature, acid and chemicals for a long time and can be used repeatedly.

It provides masking of unwanted areas on bolts, shafts, and similar parts to be painted or coated. Masking caps help to keep the work clean and high quality by preventing paint or coating material from spreading to unwanted surfaces on the part to be processed.

As we know, when metals are processed from part to whole, some areas need to be protected. Moving towards the whole, there are many connection elements on the parts such as various blades, pins, shafts, countersinks, screws, nuts, metal dowels, flanges. Masking caps protect unwanted surfaces from paint on painted and coated parts.

In all electrolysis coatings made using hot dip or hot spray method with powder coating, wet paint, cataphoresis coating applications where protection is desired
